An NIJ advisory or safety notice in effect names this model code. The notice decides, whatever the list's status column says. Some safety notices cover only the serial numbers they list.

0101.06 and 0101.07

NIJ's two ballistic standards. 0101.06 names its levels II, IIA, IIIA, III and IV; 0101.07 names them HG1 and HG2 (handgun) and RF1, RF2 and RF3 (rifle).

Both NIJ tables come from the Office of Justice Programs open-data API: Standard 0101.06 and Standard 0101.07. The notices come from the testing program's active notices page, checked against the list by matching each notice's exact model designation under the company it names. NIJ's own overview is at nij.ojp.gov.
